Being A Designer is Hard Work!

My mom says she can't believe I'm already 9 months old. She says, "you're getting so big!" but I'm only 65 lbs (she must not know I'll probably rack up ANOTHER 25lbs)

Things are really happening at our studio, everybody says it's because it is summer. We get new fabrics in almost everyday. To tell the truth, I'm getting sick of all the ooh's and ahh's. Just the other day one of our favorite reps came in and let me take a good look at some of the new collections.

All this hard work is exhausting and I try to get in a nap here and there, but they are always wanting me to help with their jobs ("Hadley, can you find me that tile sample.", "Hadley can you grab that bolt of fabric?", "Hadley can you catch the phone?") Sometimes I think they forget I am just 9 months old!

Oh well! It makes me tired just talking about it! I hope I haven't

bit off more then I can chew coming to work here! Speaking of chewing....I wonder where my favorite sea grass sample is.......

TO MARKET! TO MARKET!

Well, it has been a busy, busy spring. Last week the girls and I all headed up to High Point Market. It was my very first market, and it was a very exciting day!!

We saw a lot of beautiful antiques, new lamps, and fabulous accessories. Here are some of my favorite things!!

This is an antique French wine jug that just made my tail wag!! It would be perfect in a kitchen or on a fireplace hearth in a family room!.

I also loved these pale green antique French
books.

Here is a new lamp we liked.

And a pretty little gilt twig end table!

We found a lot of new art too!!! Vintage maps, antique prints, oil paintings, and water colors!

I had so much fun at market, but I sure was dog tired when we got back home!
