Creamware
Do you love creamware or want to know more about it? Antique creamware is a type of pottery. It is a form of
opaque earthenware started in the 1750s. It was unique to England, but was
later produced in France. Creamware can be found in many colors, various glazes
and transfrer printed designs. The monochromatic “off white” displays so
beautifully and is interesting to collect because there are so many different
pieces. Take a look and see if you would like to start a collection.

How inviting a fireplace is this time of year, but the room is light enough to enjoy throughout every season.
We can just see this room in any Southern home.
Lovely, romantic, feminine dressing area.

Caroline Kennedy's room was so adorable back in the 60's.
Her mother, the ever fashionable Jackie, used blue in the Queen's sitting area during her years in the White House.
Laura Bush added a vibrant, Hollywood movie room.

A Passion for Chinoiserie?
Fantasies of Chinese life-
Pagodas, long-tailed birds, men in coolie hats,
and flower laden vines.
We love this fabric and it's colors,
with vignettes of varied Chinese figures,
dancing or playing their musical instruments
and set within frames of lush foliage and flowers.
Based on a French brocaded silk,
this Chinoiserie motif has a coordinating border.
Both are now available in a range of new colorings.
